An examination of the fish farm industry and its effects on the marine environment. With this information local authorities and fish farmers can work towards improving the current situation and cleaning up the contaminated areas.
Investigation into the heavy metal pollution in the sediment of the ports of Antwerp and Rotterdam
Sediment was sampled at seven locations in the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp to determine the contamination levels. With the help of these results authorities can take specific action to reduce the pollution at source and clean up the widespread, severely contaminated sediment.
