Investigation into a novel wave energy turbine technology for clean and affordable energy

A theoretical analysis of the concept of a novel wave energy turbine was conducted. This study helped to clarify how this technology operates, why it has the potential to be workable and how it ought to be tested going forward.
Wave energy technology

The wave power availability worldwide, being an estimated 32000 TWh/y, would be sufficient to supply the planet’s electricity needs. Nevertheless, successful attempts to harness energy from the ocean waves and tides have remained elusive.

In this study, a novel wave energy conversion (WEC) technology’s experimental proof of concept is presented. This technique was created to address the shortcomings of conventional WECs, which are currently minimally effective. Through this theoretical analysis, the viability and workability of this innovation were examined, and future steps for testing and utilizing this technology were devised.
